Business Development Associate

Position

M.R. Technofin Consultants is seeking a Mid-level BD Associate to support in the firm’s business development, project coordination and management activities with an initial focus on Indian business development with scope for growth in supporting international business development.

IMPORTANT: We are looking for a candidate that resides in proximity to Vikhroli

Responsibilities

Initially, the candidate will work closely with a BD manager to fulfill the following responsibilities. Overtime, the firm expects that the candidate will take on these responsibilities more independently and proactively.

  • Regular check on potential opportunities through various tender portals and looking for upcoming project opportunities from public and private clients
  • Under the guidance of the BD manager, prepare the necessary documentation for sole sourced proposal requests as well as competitive tenders
  • Prepare tender briefs, checklists and other document requirements for responding to REOI/RFQ/RFP/RFIs
  • As and when required, coordinate document collection from consortium partners
  • Working closely with the BD manager, prepare technical and commercial proposal, presentations, budget estimates, company profiles, project sheets, expert’s CVs, etc.
    • Preparing project description sheets (PDS) and other forms of tender as per the bid requirement.
  • Search and look for various potential experts required for projects and bids from time-to-time. Work on CVs of potential experts as and when needed.
  • Continuously contribute to the firm’s systems and databases. For example, updating HR and Vendor database and make use of it as and when required for BD and project activities.
  • Assist and contribute in the business development cycle starting with leveraging the Candidate’s industry network with public and private client to understand upcoming business opportunities in the company’s line of business
  • Other activities as may be required to grow the firm’s business including but not limited to helping finding and communicating with vendors, managing and maintaining database of experts & vendors, supporting administrative requirements, etc.
  • Assist and grow towards leading the response to REOI/RFQ/RFP/RFIs as well as a variety of other business development initiatives for both Indian and international opportunities

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Have a minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in BD and bid/proposal management
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Civil Engineering from a reputable University
  • Having a Master’s degree/ MBA will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral)
  • Ability to clearly and concisely disseminate complex information in English (both written and oral)
  • Have an analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams in different time zones
  • Proficiency in working on MS tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel. High proficiency of working on MS Word (along with proper formatting) is highly desired.
  • Prioritize work and manage time to multi-task and efficiently work on proposals to meet the submission deadlines

Qualification and Experience

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering. Post-graduation will be an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Railway planning and design is desirable.
  • Should have worked on railway design assignments such as surveys, alignment design, yards, L Sections, Cross sections, etc. including preparation of Drawings and Design Reports

Responsibilities would Typically include (but not be limited to):

  • Undertake design and feasibility analyses for the Railway Infrastructure to ensure that all infrastructure components are properly designed and fully meet technical standards.
  • Work as a project coordinator.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, models and other aspects of Railway Infrastructure.
  • Provide evaluations, design service and rehabilitation guidance for Railway Infrastructure
  • Interacted and problem solved with local engineers in order to meet requirements.
  • Entrusted with senior-level engineering tasks including calculations, written responses to owners’ concerns and project closeout reports.
  • Coordinated with clients/ contractors to establish action plans to correct progress deficiencies and maintain schedules for the case of Project Management Work
  • Knowledge of National and International codes and standards will be considered as an asset.

Railway Signaling and Telecommunication PMC Expert
Qualification and Experience
  • Degree in Electronics or related field to S&T
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Railway Projects
  • Should be willing to visit site as required
  • Should have worked on railway project.
  • Discussion with Railway and client officials as required
Role and Responsibilities
  • Design and reviews & Planning of all S & T work
  • Design and reviews of ESP, IPS, SIP, CRP, CCP, Interface circuit, CTR, Outdoor location particular , Control table, Cross Table, BOQ and all Signalling related design.
  • Maintain all plans and drawing received from client and Contractor.
  • Co- ordinate with Civil, Electrical, telecoms system has to be carried out.
  • Monitoring the signalling installation activities, including its testing and commissioning
  • Work with AutoCAD System all the applicable drawing’s AutoCAD file also review in our system.
  • Co-ordinate with  project stakeholder as per Line manager (S&T) instruction for project requirement.
  • Supervision of site activities like as Location box , Signal, Point machine, EI system, Axle counter, LC-Gate, Cable laying, Material management and involve all the site installation, testing and commissioning work

  •  Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring, Coordination of all construction activities of railway electrification works.
  •  Preparation of detailed and baseline installation program for OHE Works.
  • Integrating the project plans with resources and material requirements to meet the client’s project schedule.
  •  Management of the above work program in coordination with PMC.
  • Preparation of daily /weekly/monthly progress reports. Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.
  • Finalize the work requirements and specifications with close coordination with PMC /Client and the construction team, estimate the project & Value conduct cost benefit analysis.
  • Project inception planning, site survey and marking.
  • Forecasting of manpower & material and resource planning.
  • Estimation of quantities, BOQ and Billing.
  • Managing all OHE works at site and Coordination with Client & Consultants.

Job Opening Railway Track / Permanent Way Expert for PMC Project in Chhattisgarh

Educational & Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years experience as Railway Track Expert or Permanent Way Expert 
  • Experience of track laying for railway projects in India would be an advantage.
