Detailed Engineering Consultancy for Private Siding at Osara (Madhya Pradesh), taking off from Jhalawar Road station in Kota division of West Central Railway for Ambuja Cements Limited

• Carry out Reconnaissance survey
• Assess the extent of land required in coordination with revenue officials and earmark the alignment on the cadastral map of the revenue department
• Prepare Conceptual design of Private railway line with the loading & unloading arrangements and its various components
• Define system of train working for the loading and unloading of different commodities
• Assess the shunting locomotives or other arrangements
• Study the facilities required in the plant yard viz. No. of reception and dispatch lines, loading & unloading lines, shunting necks, sick wagon line, mechanized loading/unloading system, weigh bridge as well as handling arrangements for other commodities
• Interfacing of Stacking and storage arrangements of plant with Railway new line.
• Study the requirements of service buildings like cabins, crew rest room, etc.
• Electrification of new railway line, General lighting arrangement
• Prepare budgetary cost for the proposed facilities covering all components of the system viz. Civil, Singalling & telecommunication (S & T) and shunting locomotives
• Assist in preparing application for obtaining Rail Transport Clearance (RTC) from Railway Board
• Preparation & Submission of Draft Project Report with concept plan , Draft Feasibility Report to ACL, Final Feasibility Report to Railway
• Carry out Final Location Survey
• Carry out detailed engineering, design & drawings of all railway components, such as takeoff points, railway line position , electrification, S & T nd other structures
• Complete the entire field engineering and prepare all necessary General Arrangement working drawings
• Survey of water courses and computation of flood discharge
• Designing of bridges (Civil design with BOQ)
• Obtain approval of design of Foot Over Bridge, Tunnel, Flyover or any Cross over bridges or structures
• Obtaining the approval of design and drawing of any cross over conveyor system,t transmission lines, etc.
• Preparation of time schedule for the execution of the project in the form of bar-chart and CPM/PERT chart.
• Preparation of Engineering Scale Plan (ESP) and Sections for the project
• Detailed plans for bridges. Plan for junction arrangements
• Signaling plans, as well as Overhead Electrification (OHE) designs/plans
• Detailed drawing of drainage along railway line and its connection to main storm water drain
• Identify the Land Corridor
• Design Signaling system
• Prepare BOQ and budgetary estimate
• Preparation & Submission of Detailed Project Report (DPR)
• Preparation of Tender Document
• Provide Supervision services for construction of new railway line
