Detailed Narrative Description of Project:

Chhattisgarh East-West Railway Limited (CEWRL) has been incorporated as a special purpose vehicle for implementation of East-West Rail Corridor in the Northern part of Chhattisgarh. It has got main line of Gevra Road – Pendra Road (135 Kms), Connectivity from Junadih Siding (6.048 Kms), Connectivity to Dipka Siding (2.521 Kms), Urga to Kusmunda (11.51 Kms), Kusmunda to Gevra (1.085 Kms).

CEWRL is an approved Concessionaire of the Ministry of Railways for construction, operation and maintenance of East-West Rail Corridor Project under the joint venture model of PPP policy of Ministry of Railways

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided 

• Review of the Drawings and Documents
• Review, inspection and monitoring of Construction Works
• Conducting tests on completion of construction and submitting copies of all test data including detailed test results to the MOR, Chief Engineer/ Independent Surveyor Assessor
• Determining, as required under the Agreement, the costs of any works or services and/or their reasonableness;
• Determining, as required under the Agreement, the period or any extension thereof, for performing any duty or obligation;
• Assisting the Parties in resolution of disputes
• Undertaking all other duties and functions in accordance with the Agreement; and
• Undertaking safety audit.
