Feasibility Study and Detailed Project Report for Linking of Mandakini ‘B’ Coal Block with the Indian Railway Network or MGR of Talcher Kaniha STPP of NTPC Ltd
- Prepared a detailed survey report based on a Final Location Survey of the selected and approved rail corridor
- Developed a consolidated traffic study for coal and non-coal movement along the proposed line
- Examined the feasibility of alternative alignments along with cost estimates through field reconnaissance surveys and topographic sheets of the mine
- Identified a suitable location for a junction station on the mainline for rail connectivity with the Mandakini-B mine
- Liaised with concerned Railway Authorities in order to prepare a plan for the communication systems, overhead track equipment, etc.
- Prepared a scale plan and L-Sections of the proposed line
- Prepared a land acquisition plan including schedules and cadastral map
- Prepared General Arrangement Drawings for bridges and culverts
- Prepared and finalized Detailed Project Report for approval from Indian Railways and NTPC
