Feasibility Study for Private siding for loading of bulk liquid & LPG in logistic park adjacent to GCPTCL Port at Dahej in Vadodara division of Western Railway

    • Held detailed discussions with GCTPCL to understand operational/functional objectives and broad requirements
    • Conducted field reconnaissance and detailed surveys of the site identified for constructing a railway line for loading/unloading Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants (POL) and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) trains
    • Evaluated railway connectivity to the main network
    • Developed the optimal design of rail infrastructure for loading/unloading trains at the proposed terminal
    • Prepared a plan for train handling facilities/terminals and related infrastructure
    • Assessed the volume of traffic in terms of tonnage, wagons and full trains on yearly as well as on daily basis in order to design the rail layout for the terminal
    • Advised on signalling and telecommunication arrangements
    • Assessed land requirement
